Umar’s interest is in helping public and private institutions apply the latest insights from behavioural economics and neuroscience to improve decision-making. He is the founder of Nudgeathon™, a crowd-sourcing platform that helps people find behavioural solutions to social problems. Umar has delivered training workshops on improving decision-making to more than fifty global institutions. His recent fascination is chatbots. Umar is also a research fellow in behavioural science at Warwick Business School and an executive teaching fellow in behavioural decision science at LSE.
